There was a kind-hearted woman who decided to save a tiny kitten that was only three months old, and give him a new chance at life. This is the story of Titus, the one-eyed cat.
When Titus was first rescued, he was a small puppy weighing only 14 ounces. He had an obvious bulging eye, suffered from respiratory infection, and was malnourished. Unfortunately, he was also scheduled to be put down. But thanks to the efforts of Holly Wise from Union, South Carolina, who raised money to cover his medical costs, Titus got a second chance at life.
She had a gut feeling that the best course of action for his issue was to undergo an operation and have his diseased eye extracted. Luckily, PURR, a group committed to rescuing animals, offered him a temporary home where he could recover from the surgery. The outcome was truly stunning: Titus made a full and amazing recuperation!
With great delight, Kaitlyn shared that her feline friend can now relish all types of food and has reached an ideal weight. During their serene bonding moments, the cat enjoys scaling to her top and smearing himself against her skin. Every time Kaitlyn makes a move to leave, he follows her footsteps and expresses his reluctance through meows. His purring is infectious and starts instantaneously upon leaping onto their laps.
Titus finds great pleasure in amusing himself and spending quality time with his foster sister, Maggie, who coincidentally shares the same visual impairment as him. In return, Maggie reciprocates Titus’s fondness and cherishes their bond equally.
Titus and Maggie are the ultimate companions who can have a blast for hours on end, sprinting and frolicking around with sheer delight.
If you’re interested in providing a caring household for Titus, don’t hesitate to send a message to PURR via their Facebook page!
